Jesse Watt is a multi-award-winning Australian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of film, nature, and human emotion. Growing up on the coast of Kiama, Australia, surfing, diving, and exploring the ocean shaped a deep connection to the natural world that continues to influence his music today.
After studying composition, Jesse spent time teaching music in the Himalayas, where he immersed himself in ancient Indian and Persian musical traditions before embarking on an international career in film, television, and advertising. His music has been heard in over 180 countries, featured by more than 280 global brands, and performed in prestigious venues including the United Nations General Assembly Hall for the UN's 75th Anniversary.
Jesse has composed scores for numerous feature films, documentaries, and television series, collaborating with acclaimed filmmakers around the world. His credits include Netflix's Tales By Light, award-winning feature documentaries, and projects alongside legendary vocalist Lisa Gerrard. He also arranged the Official Australian National Anthem and has written music performed by orchestras internationally.
