I grew up in Australia, but I've always been drawn to places that make you feel small. Mountains. Long drives. Quiet rooms with a piano.

For the past decade I've written music for films, documentaries and advertising. Along the way I've been lucky enough to score stories about wildlife, remote landscapes and people trying to make sense of the world. I've worked with orchestras, electronics, found sounds and, more often than not, a felt piano.

What keeps me coming back isn't the music itself. It's the feeling that good stories can shift the way we see something, even if only for a moment. I like music that leaves space for people to think, remember or simply breathe.

These days I'm based between Australia and Europe, writing for film while slowly building a catalogue of ambient and neoclassical music. Much of it begins as improvisation. Some pieces become scores. Others are left exactly as they arrived.

I'm still chasing the same thing I was when I first sat down at a piano: honesty over perfection, curiosity over certainty, and work that feels like it belongs to the story more than to me.
